For more than a decade, Monica Ashley Belcher has excelled as a licensed aesthetician and spa consultant. She was inspired to take on the profession from her original interest in attending spa parties, one of which included an aesthetician who was able to make a positive impact on her skin health. From this experience, she desired to become a licensed aesthetician to help other women to feel better inside and out, as well as to educate them on how to properly care for themselves.
Ms. Belcher began her career as a print model and as a bartender and bartending instructor. She subsequently worked with Salon Greco as an aesthetician and for Beauti Control as a spa consultant in 2008. Since 2008, she has served as the director of aesthetics and as a health and wellness coach at Progressive Medical Center. To gain further expertise in her profession, she graduated from the International School of Skin, Nailcare and Massage Therapy in 2011 as a certified aesthetician.
Over the course of her career, Ms. Belcher has been recognized numerous times for her excellent work. She was highlighted in an ad in Oxygen magazine in January 2008 and was featured in weekly ads in Life and Style, Star and US Weekly magazines. She credits the mentorship of her mother for her success, along with her own drive and passion for her work. Known for her contributions as a civic-minded citizen, Ms. Belcher volunteers with her local church outreach programs for victims of domestic abuse and homeless individuals in her community.
